At ABACUS DERMATOLOGY MANAGE, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Surgical Medical Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our Mohs surgery team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our surgeons in the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the surgical team with all functions typically performed by a surgical medical assistant.
  • Support surgical procedures, maintain surgical equipment, and ensure the smooth operation of the Mohs surgery center.
  • Communicate with patients, families, and staff to provide excellent patient care and maintain confidentiality.
  • Travel to different sites daily to ensure coverage and support our team.
  • Train new team members in Mohs assistant procedures as needed.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a surgical or dermatology setting is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of medical terminology and patient care principles.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
