Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Assist surgical teams during operations by preparing and managing sterile instruments and supplies.
  • Work under the guidance of a registered nurse to ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory standards.
  • Contribute to maintaining a sterile environment and support patient safety throughout surgical procedures.
Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent educational background.
  • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program or a clinical-based training program.
  • A minimum of six months of experience in an operating room or similar surgical setting.
  • Current CPR certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification as an Operating Room Technician.
  • One year of experience in an operating room.
  • Certification as a Certified Operating Room Technician (CORT) or Certified Surgical Technologist (CST).
