Job Summary:

This leadership position plays a key role in the delivery of patient care in the emergency department. As a registered nurse, you will be responsible for using the nursing process to deliver high-quality care, assessing learning needs, implementing teaching strategies, and communicating effectively with team members and patients. You will also be expected to demonstrate good judgment, adaptability, and a commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement plans of care that address the unique needs of each patient.

  • Communicate effectively with team members, patients, and families, ensuring seamless coordination of care.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care, including medications, treatments, and test results.

  • Demonstrate a commitment to lifelong learning, staying current with best practices and emerging trends in healthcare.

Requirements:

  • Current registered nurse (RN) license in state of practice.

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association.

  • Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Certification within 30 days of hire.

  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 90 days of hire.
