Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team in Belmont, Massachusetts.
This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for performing breast imaging procedures, including mammography, ultrasound, wire localizations, ductograms, cyst aspiration, and core biopsies.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a variety of technical procedures, including mammography, ultrasound, and other breast imaging modalities.
- Operate and maintain complex imaging equipment, ensuring optimal image quality and patient safety.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Provide exceptional patient care, including explaining procedures, positioning patients, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Participate in quality control tests and maintain accurate records of patient data and imaging results.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, and participate in ongoing education and training.
- Graduation from an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
- Valid Massachusetts license as a Radiologic Technologist in the category of Radiography.
- Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent.
- 2-3 years' experience as a radiologic technologist, preferably in mammography.
- Knowledge of quality control tests, MQSA, ARC, and Mass State mammography regulations.
