Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse on our Med/Surg 3B unit, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care to our patients. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care to ensure the best possible outcomes. You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their physical, emotional, and social needs. Develop and implement individualized care plans to address these needs and promote optimal patient outcomes.
  • Implementation and Evaluation: Implement care plans and interventions to address patient needs. Evaluate the effectiveness of these interventions and make adjustments as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients and their families.
  • Leadership and Accountability: Demonstrate leadership and accountability in providing high-quality patient care. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
  • License: Eligible for or currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Maryland or compact state.
  • Certifications: BLS certification required; ACLS certification required for Med/Surg 3B unit.
  • Skills: Effective communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members; ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
