Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team on the 10th Floor Tele/Med/Surg Nights unit at NYU Langone Health. As a key member of our interdisciplinary healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and analyze patient healthcare data to inform nursing diagnoses and develop individualized plans of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement comprehensive patient-centered plans of care and achieve expected outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and activities that promote patient, family, and staff satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with current evidence-based practice and apply research to improve patient care.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families to facilitate health adjustment and promote health outcomes.
Requirements
  • Current Registered Professional Nurse license in New York State.
  • Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing required.
  • Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association.
  • Fluent written and spoken English language skills.
  • Physical stamina, manual dexterity, and visual acuity to perform responsibilities.
