Nurse Specialist Day Surgery

At Williamson Health, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Day Surgery team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a smooth and efficient surgical experience for our patients.
Responsibilities
• Plan, implement, and evaluate pre and post-surgical patient care for patients receiving outpatient diagnostic and treatment services.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
• Provide emotional and psychosocial support to patients and their families, addressing their needs and concerns throughout the surgical process.
Requirements
• Earned a nursing diploma or degree from a college university.
• Licensed in the state of Tennessee.
• Minimum of one-year med/surg nursing experience.
• BLS within 90 days of hire.
Work Environment
Our Day Surgery unit is a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, ranging from less than one year of age to ninety-nine years of age. You will be working with a team of experienced healthcare professionals who share your commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
