Utilizing our E.P.I.C. curriculum, our educators inspire independence, creativity, and a love for learning. Ideal candidates will possess relevant experience and educational background in early childhood education, demonstrating a commitment to meeting the developmental needs of children while being passionate about teaching.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute educational programs by creating classroom activities that align with developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards.
- Organize individual and group activities that are age-appropriate to actively engage children and promote their social, cognitive, and emotional development.
- Maintain regular communication with parents through informal discussions, progress updates, and conferences.
- Ensure compliance with all center policies and state regulations.
- Foster a healthy classroom environment by upholding hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards.
- Keep accurate records, forms, and documentation.
- Engage in continuous professional development to enhance quality of education.
- Create a safe and enjoyable learning atmosphere.
- Establish routines that promote physical activity, rest, and play.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with children, colleagues, and families.
- Provide updates to parents regarding their child's development and progress.
- Ensure the health and safety of all children in care.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of professional experience in childcare.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills along with basic computer proficiency.
- High energy level and ability to collaborate effectively with staff, children, and parents.
- Solid understanding of child development principles.
- Certification in Infant/Child CPR and First Aid.
- Successful completion of a background check and health screening.
- Level 11 on The Registry.
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as walking, handling objects, and maintaining specific vision requirements.
- Exceptional leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
