Emergency Department Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at SSM Health. As a critical care nurse, you will provide direct patient care to individuals requiring complex assessments and interventions. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the highest level of care and patient satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Collect comprehensive data to inform patient care decisions.
- Triage patients to prioritize and optimize healthcare consumer flow.
- Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses or issues.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to achieve expected outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on health promotion and disease prevention.
- Evaluate progress toward attainment of outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- One year of registered nurse experience in an emergency or critical care setting.
- Current RN licensure in the state of employment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification or equivalent.
