Nutrition Professional Job Summary:

As a Nutrition Professional with the Arkansas Government Job, you will play a critical role in promoting health and controlling disease through effective meal planning and food service systems. This position requires a deep understanding of nutrition components of preventive health and medical care services, as well as food science principles and methods. You will analyze patient nutritional data, develop care plans, and provide consultation, training, and instruction to dietary professionals and patients. This job is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy. You will also be responsible for planning and implementing programs in meal planning and food service systems to ensure adequate diets for patients. You will conduct in-service training programs and supervise the preparation and distribution of promotional materials for maximum awareness and program effectiveness.
