Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with daily living activities and provide nursing care, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being.
  • Perform and document patient rounds, including medical or psychiatric care, to maintain accurate records and facilitate effective care planning.
  • Report changes in patient conditions to the Registered Nurse (RN) in a timely and professional manner, ensuring seamless communication and care coordination.
  • Collect specimens for diagnostic testing and prepare them for laboratory analysis, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
  • Support non-custody staff in providing patient care, promoting a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Prepare documentation for patient transfers to other institutions or facilities, ensuring accurate and complete records.
  • Complete required documentation of patient care, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Maintain and check equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition and adhering to established protocols for cleaning and maintenance.
Requirements
  • CNA Certificate or CNA State License
