Join Schneider Electric as a Customer Service Operations Intern

Schneider Electric's Global Supply Chain team is seeking a motivated individual to assume the role of Customer Service Operations and Technical Writing Intern in our Fairfield, OH location. This part-time position will be a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on knowledge and work experience in a dynamic organization.

  • Create, edit, maintain, and design technical documentation that supports business objectives with a focus on Manufacturing Engineer guides and processes.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including updating information in operating systems, retrieving data from systems, and creating Excel reports or pivot tables.
  • Conduct product/component simplification and standardization, analyzing existing components, researching alternatives, and designing new component layouts.
  • Investigate, evaluate, document, and optimize existing manufacturing processes.

What qualifications will make you successful?

  • Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Ability to understand complex technical information and communicate it to diverse professional backgrounds using plain language.
  • Excellent grasp of grammar and ability to express ideas clearly in writing.
  • Intermediate knowledge of technology to meet project requirements.
  • Flexibility to changing needs and assignments with strong ability to multi-task and prioritize activities.
  • Proficient knowledge of document production, including template design, formatting, publishing, and graphic design requirements.
  • Solid work ethic, honoring responsibility and commitment.
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills in English.
