Informatics Analyst Role at NYSTEC

As a key member of the Quality Management and Improvement Services practice at NYSTEC, you will collaborate with our team to deliver expert solutions to healthcare clients. Our organization is recognized as a trusted advisor, providing subject matter expertise and connecting the dots for our clients.

NYSTEC has a proven track record of consulting on large-scale Medicaid initiatives and serving in various roles across New York State healthcare technology systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to inquiries regarding registry-specific registration and testing requirements.
  • Fulfill onboarding status update requests for healthcare providers and program staff.
  • Develop registry-specific guidance and educational materials.
  • Perform ongoing tracking and surveillance of production interfaces.
  • Contribute to the design and testing of developed systems that support the registry or general promoting interoperability (PI) activities.
  • Run standard and ad hoc queries on onboarding data to support compliance and audit considerations.
  • Track communications with providers and hospitals and prepare and distribute registry reports to inform the program.
  • Conduct quality assurance activities to ensure the completeness and accuracy of the electronic exchange of health information from healthcare providers to the registries.
