Position Overview

The Travel Radiology Technician plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality imaging services across various healthcare settings. This position requires a commitment to excellence and adaptability in diverse environments.

Certification Requirements
  • BLS: Basic Life Support
  • ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support
  • PALS: Pediatric Advanced Life Support
  • NRP: Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
  • EFM: Electronic Fetal Monitoring
  • Tech Cert Verification: National
  • CPI: Crisis Prevention Institute
  • State License Verification: Required
  • NURSYS Verification: RN, LPN/LVN, AP
Job Specifications
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years required.
  • Traveler Acceptance: First-time travelers are welcome.
  • Hospital Experience: Exposure to both teaching and community hospitals.
  • Emergency Coverage: Ability to assist with emergency surgeries and fluoroscopy cases as necessary.
  • Equipment Familiarity: Preferred experience with GE, PACS, Siemens, and O-ARM.
  • Epic System: Proficiency required.
  • Uniform: Scrub color is navy.
Additional Qualifications
  • Licenses: BLS, ARRT-R, and KY License are mandatory.
  • Driving Requirements: A valid Driver's License is necessary if driving is a primary job function.
  • Testing: P/F EKG Test is required for specific units such as Med Surg/Tele, Tele, and ICU.
  • Compliance: Candidates may be subject to cancellation if they do not pass required assessments.
  • Pre-Employment Procedures: Candidates must submit a badge photo to the hospital's security team prior to commencement.
  • Orientation: HR will provide initial day instructions directly to the candidate.
