Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Trademasters Services I. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.

Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on building systems
  • Hang doors, install door locks, replace windowpanes, and hardware
  • Repair or replace sinks, faucets, water coolers, and toilets
  • Operate fork lift and other lift equipment
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Ability to document, communicate, and follow up effectively
Requirements
  • 3 to 5 years of experience as a maintenance mechanic or in a similar role
  • Facilities maintenance experience in a government, hospital, or school environment is preferred
  • Knowledge and ability to operate hand and power tools
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability
  • Computer skills and strong attention to details
  • Trade or vocational school graduate preferred
  • Must be able to acquire and maintain a Federal Public Trust Clearance to be badged for the federal government job site
  • Pass background check and drug screen
