Anesthesia Technician Job Description

Piedmont Fayette Hospital is seeking a skilled Anesthesia Technician to join our team. As an Anesthesia Technician, you will play a vital role in providing care to patients undergoing operative invasive procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist anesthesia providers and other healthcare members in providing care to patients.
  • Prepare anesthesia equipment and supplies necessary for administration of general, monitored anesthesia care, or regional anesthesia.
  • Maintain inventory levels of anesthesia equipment and supplies.
  • Support anesthesia services and provide comprehensive care to patients undergoing invasive procedures.
Requirements:
  • High School Graduate or equivalent.
  • One year experience with direct patient care experience in a hospital setting required, two years preferred.
  • Previous experience in an operating room preferred.
  • American Heart Association BLS Certification.
  • Certified Anesthesia Technician (Cer.A.T.) or equivalent certification preferred.
