Job Title: Sr. Corporate Accountant

At Caliber Collision, we are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Corporate Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in maintaining the general ledger for corporate operational activity.

Job Purpose:

The Sr. Corporate Accountant will be responsible for recording and reviewing expenses incurred by various corporate departments, ensuring proper cost allocation between corporate departments and operations during the month-end close process. You will also perform reconciliations on relevant balance sheet accounts and report budget analysis to department heads as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform month-end close for corporate departments, reviewing posted expenses and making required journal entries
  • Analyze departmental spend in relation to budget and provide budget performance reports to department leads
  • Coordinate with the ERP team to establish GL coding for departmental special projects
  • Perform ad-hoc spend analysis for department executives
  • Perform monthly reconciliations for relevant balance sheet accounts
  • Interface quarterly with department leaders to align accounting with departmental strategy and spend
  • Perform technical accounting research
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting
  • Minimum three years of accounting experience
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) eligible
  • General knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Ability to organize and present information to organizational stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • Public company auditing experience and understanding of internal control environments
  • User-side knowledge of large ERP systems
  • Ability to create visualization reports from large data sets
  • Experience leading meetings and interactions with various levels of management
  • Track-record of initiating and leading projects independently
Working Arrangements:

This role will be performed in a hybrid environment, with 60% in office and 40% at remote, with additional flexibility as required.
