We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Groundskeeper I to join our Public Services Department. As a Groundskeeper I, you will be responsible for maintaining the grounds and facilities of the City of Greer.

• Maintain the cleanliness and sanitary conditions of public recreational facilities, including restrooms and surrounding areas.
• Perform grounds maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and pruning lawns, shrubbery, and trees.
• Conduct weed control and litter removal activities.
• Assist with set-up and clean-up of scheduled events.
• Perform custodial work, including trash disposal, cleaning floors, and vacuuming.
• Assist with minor repairs to recreational facilities, including mending fences, performing light carpentry and masonry work, and minor installation and repair of fixtures.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Self-motivated and experience in grounds and/or facility maintenance.
• Valid state-issued driver's license.
