Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Transfer Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the care, removal, and transport of deceased individuals, collaborating with other team members to ensure that all processes and procedures are followed. You will also be responsible for safely driving company-owned vehicles and transporting caskets to airports, care centers, or funeral homes.
This is a full-time position that requires a strong commitment to customer service and attention to detail. If you are a compassionate and organized individual who is looking for a challenging and rewarding career, we encourage you to apply.
Key ResponsibilitiesDrive company-owned vehicles to perform transfers of deceased individuals, following all local and state/provincial laws as well as company policies and procedures.
Collaborate with first responders, coroner, hospital staff, and senior living facility personnel to ensure smooth and efficient transfers.
Provide exceptional customer service to bereaved family members, minimizing conversation and exhibiting sensitivity to their environment.
Enter deceased event information into proprietary software according to company procedures.
Transport caskets to airports, care centers, or funeral homes, and assist with moving caskets as needed.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Current state/province-issued driver's license with an acceptable driving record required.
At least one (1) year of work experience as a courier, driver, with direct customer interaction preferred.
