At Orthopedic Associates, we are seeking a motivated Medical Assistant - Clinical to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide individualized, compassionate care to patients and demonstrate a commitment to excellence in their work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional patient care in a clinical setting, including taking vital signs, preparing rooms for patient visits, and ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
- Assist healthcare providers with various tasks, such as removing casts, splints, and sutures, and preparing patients for medical procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of patient interactions, including medical histories, allergies, and medications.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure that patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
Requirements:
- Education and Experience: A healthcare-related degree and/or certification as a Medical Assistant, CMA, RMA, or CCMA.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Certifications and Licenses: Current certification as a Medical Assistant and/or licensure to practice in the state of Ohio.
