Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Rossmoor Post Acute. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a critical role in helping patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities to determine their occupational therapy needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients improve their functional abilities.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions to address deficits in activities of daily living, mobility, and fine motor skills.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Educate patients and their families on adaptive techniques and equipment to enhance independence and safety.
  • Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Acute care experience: Ability to provide occupational therapy services in acute care settings, such as emergency departments or intensive care units.
  • Occupational health knowledge: Understanding of occupational health principles and practices, including ergonomics and workplace injury prevention.
  • Critical care skills: Ability to provide specialized occupational therapy interventions for critically ill patients.
  • Physiology knowledge: Understanding of human anatomy and physiology as it relates to occupational therapy interventions.
  • Patient service focus: Strong focus on providing excellent patient-centered care and ensuring patient satisfaction.
What We Offer
  • Competitive hourly rate: $60.00 per hour.
  • Full-time schedule: 40 hours per week.
