Job Title: Environmental Geologist

Stantec is seeking a highly skilled Environmental Geologist to join our team in Roseville, California. As an Environmental Geologist, you will play a critical role in providing field and technical support services on various projects related to environmental investigation and assessment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct environmental sampling, including soil, groundwater, soil vapor, ambient air, surface water, and wastewater sampling.
  • Prepare and document field data collection activities, including daily timesheets and work plans, data management, and report preparation.
  • Assist in the completion of project-level work, including health and safety documents, client health and safety meetings, and adherence to Stantec's and client safety procedures.
  • Prepare daily summary emails and site diagrams, and submit reports to online reporting systems.
  • Work under the supervision of a professional geologist or engineer to prepare work plans and technical project deliverables.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in earth science, geology, natural or environmental science, or engineering from an accredited college.
  • 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training and current 8-hour annual certification.
  • 10-hour OSHA Construction training is beneficial but not required.
  • Current certification as a CAC or CSST is beneficial but not required.
  • QSP certification is beneficial but not required.
