The role will also supervise staff to ensure appropriate care is delegated and is accountable for supporting the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide effective interpersonal and communication skills, serving as a role model and advocate for the professional discipline of nursing.
- Support the CNO in ensuring high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.
- Supervise staff to ensure appropriate care is delegated.
- Required: Graduation from a state-approved school of nursing or an accredited school.
- Preferred: Academic degree in nursing (bachelor's or master's degree).
- Required: Current licensure, certification, or registration to practice as a registered nurse in the state of practice or policy; CPR certification.
- Tenet Healthcare Corporation complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce. If you are offered this position and must be vaccinated under any applicable law, you will be required to show proof of full vaccination or obtain an approval of a religious or medical exemption prior to your start date. If you receive an exemption from the vaccination requirement, you will be required to submit to regular testing in accordance with the law.
