Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at UNC Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and producing high-quality radiographic images.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using various modalities, including X-ray, CT, and MRI.
  • Assess patient conditions and develop action plans for performing examinations.
  • Verify patient identity and obtain relevant medical history before administering ionizing radiation.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to infection control and radiation safety protocols.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiological Sciences or registry eligible and become registered within one year from date of hire.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
