Position Summary:

The Quality Assurance Auditor is responsible for overseeing product testing to ensure compliance with established quality standards. This role involves conducting regular inspections to verify that products maintain conformity and performing audits to prevent defective items from reaching customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and minimize defects by assessing part quality, process integrity, and material handling/storage.
  • Conduct required testing as per product specifications and report findings accurately.
  • Communicate effectively with the production team regarding the status and acceptance of test specimens.
  • Ensure product conformity during startup and throughout the production cycle.
  • Perform basic dimensional inspections using hand tools.
  • Verify product startup through initial sample submissions.
  • Conduct color validation using spectrophotometers and visual comparisons.
  • Confirm appropriate material selection for work orders.
  • Maintain clear communication regarding production quality status.
  • Approve and validate job start-ups and process modifications.
  • Document material acceptances and rejections using IQMS software.
  • Collaborate with Assembly, Molding, Process, and Team Leaders.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the laboratory environment.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel.
  • Familiarity with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Understanding of food safety standards and FDA regulations.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. as needed.

Compensation: Up to $20/hr.

Work Schedule: 1st Shift, 7AM to 7PM, Rotating Schedule.
