Genomics/Bioinformatics Intern

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Genomics/Bioinformatics Intern to join our team at LabCorp. As a Genomics/Bioinformatics Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in bioinformatics and genomics, and contribute to the development of new tools and methods for analyzing and interpreting large-scale genomic data.

• Assist in the development and implementation of bioinformatics pipelines for analyzing genomic data
• Contribute to the design and development of new bioinformatics tools and methods
• Work with a team of researchers and scientists to analyze and interpret genomic data
• Present research findings and results to the team and at scientific conferences

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or related field
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or Java
• Experience with bioinformatics tools and methods, such as BLAST, Bowtie, and SAMtools
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
