Job Summary

The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing individualized care to assigned patients, incorporating clinical practice guidelines with established nursing practice. Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing individualized care for assigned patients
  • Completing documentation and charges in a timely manner
  • Adhering to case management models and working with physicians for effective throughput
  • Demonstrating team behavior and promoting exceptional patient experiences
  • Upholding and promoting patient safety and quality
Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse at Cullman Regional, you will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care activities. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Meeting Joint Commission standards and complying with state and federal regulations
  • Managing supplies and equipment, promoting teamwork with physicians and healthcare providers
  • Promoting internal and external customer satisfaction and managing resources appropriately
Patient Assessment/Documentation

You will be responsible for providing and documenting patient care based on the nursing process, in compliance with hospital policies and procedures. This includes:

  • Planning, delegating, and coordinating nursing care for assigned patients
  • Utilizing basic physical and psychosocial assessment skills to identify actual nursing diagnosis/clinical problems
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited school of nursing
  • RN licensure in this state
  • A minimum of one year experience in a healthcare setting

The estimated annual salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000, depending on qualifications and experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
