Talent Acquisition Specialist

The Talent Acquisition Manager will oversee the organization's recruitment function and lead a team of talent acquisition professionals in supporting staffing needs.
This role will focus on providing daily support to the team, administering policies and procedures to maintain the integrity of the recruitment and talent acquisition processes, and upholding the organization's culture and values.
The Talent Acquisition Manager will report to the Director of People Services-Talent Management or designee and will be responsible for proactively identifying opportunities for elevating customer and candidate experience, process streamlining, and improvement in partnership with the Director, Talent Management.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, review, and modify recruiting Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and other relevant process documents as needed and in alignment with regular review periods.
- Develop, review, and maintain the interview questionnaire library and participate in the identification of panelists for open positions as needed.
- Manage and maintain confidentiality and navigate sensitive information.
- Utilize a solutions-oriented approach and prioritize responsibilities to work efficiently with a high degree of collaboration and effective communication.
- Facilitate select Talent Acquisition team meetings, training, and other professional development opportunities supporting best practices and industry trend awareness.
- Perform administrative duties, responsibilities, and activities as assigned.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience demonstrating applicable skills in relevant industry or discipline. Three years' combination experience in HR and Talent Acquisition is required, with three years' Leadership and Management experience preferred. Industry Certification in related Human Resources focus is a plus.
The candidate should have demonstrated experience building strong internal/external partner and customer relationships, with strong autonomy, reliability, responsibility, dependability, and willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges. Intermediate level of skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other technology applications is required.
Physical RequirementsThe position requires the ability to read small print and view a computer screen for prolonged periods, prepare or inspect documents, and operate office equipment. The candidate should be able to hear average or typical conversations and receive ordinary information, and be able to speak with a level of proficiency and volume to be understood over a telephone or computer.
The candidate should also be able to read, write, understand, interpret, and apply information at a moderately complex level essential for successful job performance, with math skills at a high school proficiency level. The candidate should be able to process information quickly, learn quickly, and follow verbal procedures and standards, and be able to give verbal instruction, rank tasks in order of importance, copy, compare, compile, and coordinate information and records.
