Job Title: Host

Cunningham Restaurant Group (CRG) is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Host to join our team. As a Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guest Greeting and Seating: Welcome guests with a friendly and positive attitude, manage the waitlist and reservations, and escort guests to their tables.
  • Reservation Management: Take and confirm reservations, maintain an up-to-date reservation book, and communicate special requests to servers and kitchen staff.
  • Guest Assistance: Provide guests with information about the restaurant, assist with coat check, and handle guest inquiries and concerns.
  • Communication and Coordination: Maintain effective communication with servers, bussers, and kitchen staff to ensure efficient seating and service.
  • Waitlist Management: Keep track of waiting guests and notify them when their tables are ready.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Keep the host/hostess stand and waiting area clean and organized.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Friendly and outgoing personality with a positive attitude.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
  • Familiarity with reservation systems or software is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, and move around the restaurant for extended periods.
  • Occasionally lift and carry items up to 20 pounds.
