We are seeking a skilled Journeyperson Electrician to join our team at Hayden Power Group. As a key member of our electrical contracting team, you will be responsible for installing, testing, and troubleshooting electrical systems in commercial, industrial, and residential settings.
Key Responsibilities- Apply comprehensive knowledge of electrical tasks, including laying out, assembling, and installing electrical wiring, fixtures, and control devices.
- Perform wire terminations, troubleshoot electrical systems, and demonstrate expertise in electrical materials and tools.
- Mentor apprentices and helpers, monitor work progress, and ensure accurate coding of timecards and completion of time and material sheets.
- Collaborate with a crew of electricians or other jobsite tradespeople, maintain a safe and organized work environment, and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.
- High school graduate or equivalent, Journeyperson certificate, or 7 years of equivalent work experience.
- Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to work independently, supervise a crew, and adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
- Working knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC) and NFPA70E, proficiency in testing electrical systems, and ability to identify wire colors.
Jobsites may require lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, bending, or reaching for extended periods. Ability to work 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, with overtime and nights as required. Repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers, and ability to frequently bend, stretch, twist, or reach with body, arms, and/or legs.
Salary and BenefitsThe final agreed-upon compensation is based on individual qualifications and experience, ranging from $47,000 to $62,000 per year. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, short-term insurance, life insurance, vacation and personal time, 401K plan with matching contribution, employee assistance program, employee perks program, competitive pay, and opportunities for advancement.
