Job Summary

CBS Building Maintenance, Inc. is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitorial Cleaning Specialist to join our team. As a Janitorial Cleaning Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our clients and employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily cleaning tasks, including vacuuming, edging, dusting, and cleaning restrooms and breakrooms.
  • Empty trash and transport it to the proper disposal area.
  • Sweep and mop floors, and perform other duties as assigned.
  • Work effectively in a team environment and take direction from the Cleaning Lead, Supervisor, or Manager.
  • Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures, and use proper personal protective equipment.
  • Present a professional appearance and conduct, and demonstrate exceptional customer service skills.
Requirements
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time and frequently lift 0-10 pounds.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines during peak periods.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous janitorial experience preferred.
Working Conditions
  • Work in a variety of environments, including offices, commercial spaces, and industrial spaces.
  • Exposure to cleaning chemicals and other hazardous materials.
  • May be required to work in a team environment and collaborate with other employees.
