Perioperative Registered Nurse

The Perioperative Registered Nurse is a key member of the USPI team, providing high-quality patient care in the perioperative services. This role requires a strong nursing background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Provide safe and effective patient care using the nursing process and medical plan of care.
- Support the mission, vision, and values of USPI.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, physicians, and colleagues.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest surgical procedures and best practices.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Virginia Nursing License.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Pre-Op/PACU, with previous experience in an ambulatory surgical setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient management.
- Ability to care for patients from infancy to geriatrics.
- Excellent teaching, communication, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrate strong professional and ethical behavior.
