Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer Co-op to join our dynamic Engineering Department. As a co-op, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers and designers to develop innovative electrical and mechanical design solutions that enhance machine reliability and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with engineers and designers to develop design solutions
  • Apply finite element analysis (FEA) skills to optimize design
  • Utilize 2D and 3D CAD software, preferably Inventor, to create detailed designs
  • Analyze complex structures and develop creative solutions to challenging problems
  • Work on hands-on projects and contribute to the development of new technologies
  • Develop and maintain accurate documentation and records

Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) and 2D/3D CAD software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
