Key Responsibilities- Provide psychiatric services to adult inpatients and outpatients in a hospital setting
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to develop and implement treatment plans
- Conduct rounds and consultations with patients and their families
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
- Current licensure to practice medicine in Virginia
- Board certification or eligibility in psychiatry
- At least one year of inpatient experience
- Three years of experience in psychiatry, preferably in an inpatient setting
This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. The shift will involve working with a team of 3 physicians, 1 therapist, and 1 social worker. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills.
EMR SystemWe use the EPIC system, which is required for all staff members. The candidate will need to be proficient in using this system and have experience with electronic medical records.
