Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Development Specialist RN to join our team at Baptist Memorial Health Care. As a key member of our nursing team, you will play a vital role in enhancing the competence and professional development of our nursing staff.

Responsibilities
  • Assess learning needs and develop targeted educational programs to meet the needs of our nursing staff.
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate educational activities to ensure the highest level of quality and effectiveness.
  • Participate in and utilize evidence-based research to inform educational decisions and improve health delivery.
  • Provide leadership and support to nursing staff to promote lifelong learning and professional growth.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of educational activities and improve patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in a related field after degree/license obtained.
  • Current RN licensure and ANCC Board Certification preferred.
  • Computer literacy and strong communication skills required.
