Job Summary

Provider Healthcare is seeking an experienced and collaborative Pediatric Dentist to provide dental care to children in a community health center. The ideal candidate values providing equitable and evidence-based care to all patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat diseases, injuries, and malformations of teeth and gums and related oral structures.
  • Examine patients, utilizing x-rays, mirrors, explorers, and other diagnostic procedures and instruments.
  • Clean, fill, extract, and replace teeth, using rotary and hand instruments, dental appliances, medications, and surgical implements.
  • Design and build crowns, bridges, and other oral structures.
  • Plan a program of examination and treatment for patient clientele.
  • Participate in management and staff meetings, and other Board and miscellaneous meetings and retreats if appropriate.
  • Ensure safety and security of the Dental Department according to OSHA requirements.

Requirements

  • Active PA Dental License.
  • Board certified or eligible.
  • Active DEA certification.
  • Dental Degree (D.D.S. or D.M.D.) from an accredited dental school.
