Job Summary:

The Crisis Response Team Member will be responsible for responding to crisis calls, providing information and referrals, and conducting crisis assessments. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to crisis calls and provide information and referrals to individuals and families affected by domestic violence.
  • Conduct crisis assessments to determine the level of risk and provide appropriate support and resources.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Provide transportation and escort services for clients as needed.
  • Complete APRICOT data inputting on all hotline calls and crisis assessments.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in social work, human services, or a related field.
  • 6 months of experience conducting crisis response assessments.
  • Knowledge of Referral System in Fresno County.
  • Experience using Apricot.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish.
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a high-volume environment.
Working Conditions:

The Marjaree Mason Center is a 24/7 operation, and all employees may be required to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends. The Crisis Response Team Member will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and may be exposed to traumatic situations.
