Nurse Residency Program Overview

The Nurse Residency program at Ozarks Healthcare aims to provide superior nursing development, aligning with our mission, vision, and values. Our program is designed to achieve the following goals:

  • Transition from an entry-level advanced beginner to a competent nurse.
  • Develop effective decision-making skills related to clinical judgment and performance.
  • Provide safe patient care.
  • Strengthen commitment to nursing as a profession.
  • Incorporate evidence-based science into practice.
Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for this program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Completion of an LPN or RN program within the last 6 months.
  • Current LPN or RN licensure preferred or scheduled with successful completion of NCLEX within 90 days of hire.
  • Commitment to the residency program, including participating in general and specialized learning experiences, completing activities related to the program, and evaluating the program, preceptors, and facilitators.
  • Commitment to Ozarks Healthcare for one year.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a comprehensive compensation package, we also provide excellent benefits, including health insurance, retirement savings plans, and paid time off.
