As a Home Health Registered Nurse with Interim HealthCare, you'll have the opportunity to provide personalized care to patients with illnesses, injuries, and chronic diseases. You'll work closely with a team of physicians and oversee LPNs, CNAs, and aides to ensure the highest level of patient care.

Key responsibilities of the Home Health Registered Nurse role include:

  • Providing home-based care to patients with illnesses, injuries, and chronic diseases
  • Working with a team of physicians and overseeing LPNs, CNAs, and aides
  • Examining patients, doing assessments, documenting progress, and reporting changes to their physician
  • Educating patients on their plan of care, prescribed medication, therapy, diet, and exercise
  • Coaching family members on the patient's plan of care, medication, and home safety
  • Ensuring goals are met and coordinating discharge from services

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in Colorado
  • Graduate of an accredited school or program of nursing
  • At least 1200 hours of experience as an RN
  • Healthcare CPR/BLS Certified
  • Home health care experience preferred
  • Great organizational skills
  • Able to manage patients with chronic illnesses
  • Pass a background check and drug test
