Seasonal Preschool Instructor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Preschool Teacher to join our team at the City of Appleton, WI. As a Preschool Teacher, you will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction and care to young children in a fun and engaging learning environment.

• Develop and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans to promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth in children.
• Establish a safe and inclusive classroom environment that fosters positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians through regular updates and progress reports.
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement curriculum and activities that meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Maintain accurate attendance records and ensure compliance with program policies and procedures.

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with young children in a preschool or childcare setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Current certification in First Aid and CPR.

This is a seasonal position, working Thursday mornings from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Additional hours may be required. The work location is the Appleton City Center Studios.
