Job Description:

TotalMed Allied is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to fill a travel job in Grand Junction, Colorado. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working closely with the healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a variety of conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pneumonia, and asthma.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests, including spirometry and arterial blood gas analysis.
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans for patients.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Colorado.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
