Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as an Evening/Weekend Care Specialist. In this role, you will provide high-quality care to terminally ill patients and their families in their homes, assisted living facilities, and long-term care facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Under the guidance of physicians, assess patient needs and provide preventative and supportive care to maximize patient comfort and quality of life.
  • Utilize assessment, intervention, and teaching skills to enhance patient comfort and quality of life.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Nursing or equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of one year of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid Florida license as a Registered Nurse.
  • Valid Florida State Driver's License.
  • CPR certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
Preferred Qualifications
  • One year of experience in an acute or post-acute care setting.
  • Experience caring for terminal patients and others with life-threatening illnesses.
  • Reliable transportation and valid automobile insurance.
