We are seeking a highly skilled Vascular Sonographer II to join our team at Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center. As a Vascular Sonographer II, you will be responsible for administering basic or advanced emergency medical care and assessing injuries and illnesses. You will work closely with our team to provide individualized, innovative, and specialized care to patients in the community.
Key Responsibilities- Administer basic or advanced emergency medical care and assess injuries and illnesses.
- May administer medication intravenously, use equipment such as EKGs, or administer advanced life support to sick or injured individuals.
- Work closely with our team to provide individualized, innovative, and specialized care to patients in the community.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Conduct diagnostic tests and procedures to identify and diagnose medical conditions.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- ARDMS RVT Registry required.
- Current BCLS certification required.
- Three (3) years' experience in a dedicated vascular laboratory required.
- Demonstrated proficiencies in vascular diagnostic studies including cerebrovascular/carotid, peripheral venous, peripheral arterial, and visceral vascular.
- Experience in a hospital setting preferred.
