Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiologic Technologist Lead to join our team at Providence Health & Service. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day supervision of imaging services and assisting the manager with supervisory functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical and clinical supervision to radiologic technologists and imaging services staff
  • Assist the manager with supervisory functions, including scheduling, staffing, and quality assurance
  • Ensure compliance with department standards and policies
  • Participate in quality improvement activities and contribute to the development of departmental goals and objectives
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and healthcare providers
Requirements
  • Graduate of a program in radiologic technology approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association
  • California Radiologic Technologist licensure upon hire
  • National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire
  • Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire
  • 5 years of experience in a hospital-based radiology setting
Preferred Qualifications
  • Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire
  • Advanced certification in a secondary modality (e.g., CT, MRI, Mammography)
  • Supervisory experience
