Responsibilities:

  • Preparation: Measure and combine ingredients, use mixers, blenders, heat sources, and other equipment to prepare baked goods
  • Decoration: Decorate and display finished products to enhance presentation
  • Quality Control: Test ingredients and finished goods to ensure quality and safety standards
  • Customer Service: Greet customers, answer questions, make recommendations, accept orders and payments, and provide exceptional customer service

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; more education or experience may be preferred
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication, time management, and planning skills
  • Attention to Detail: Attention to detail, especially when performing quality inspections on ingredients and products
  • Basic Math and Computer Skills: Basic math and computer skills
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently or with other team members to solve problems, plan schedules, fulfill orders, and create amazing baked goods

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
