Job Title: Commercial Roofing Superintendent

Tecta America Carolinas, a leading commercial roofing contractor, is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Roofing Superintendent to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the coordination of administrative efforts with field efforts, ensuring that projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and with a strong focus on safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and supervise commercial roofing crews and jobs
  • Attend and participate in pre-construction meetings
  • Read and understand field books, job scopes, plans, and specifications to plan and execute jobs efficiently
  • Establish effective communication with external and internal customers, including GCs, building owners, and project managers
  • Instruct best practices for roofing production through on-the-job training and manufacturer training
  • Train employees on safety procedures and equipment
  • Teach roofing terminology, tools, and equipment usage
  • Plan, administer, and participate in company-sponsored education programs for new hires and developing roof technicians
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and retain a dependable and knowledgeable field personnel
  • Ensure jobs are completed efficiently and cost-effectively
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; 8-10 years related experience and/or training
  • 5+ years of commercial roofing experience
  • Ability to read and analyze blueprints, business periodicals, and technical procedures
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to work at heights and position extension ladders
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred
