Key Responsibilities- Respond to emergency calls and assess situations to provide medical treatment
- Conduct rapid and accurate patient assessments, including vital signs and medical history
- Administer medical treatment within scope of practice, including oxygen, bleeding control, and CPR
- Transport patients to medical facilities for further evaluation and treatment
- Communicate effectively with patients, bystanders, and hospital staff
- Document patient care and maintain medical equipment and vehicles
- Participate in ongoing training and continuing education to maintain certification
