Job Summary

Drive a tractor-trailer combination to transport and off-load compressed and liquefied industrial gases to customers or to storage sites in a safe, timely, and accurate manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to identify any maintenance action that may be required and take appropriate action if necessary.
  • Report all accidents, possible injuries, safety issues, driving citations, and customer complaints to the supervisor immediately.
  • Complete and submit reports as required by the DOT and/or Airgas company policy.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • 3+ years of experience as a driver of tractor-trailer vehicles.
  • Class A CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), two years of technical college or military technical experience.
  • Preferred, Three (3) years of HazMat or Tanker experience.
  • Product knowledge of cryogenic, compressed, and specialty gases, preferred.
