Join a thriving pediatric practice with a high demand for services and ample opportunities for professional development. Be part of a dedicated team consisting of 2 full-time physicians and 2 Physician Assistants (PA).

Conduct comprehensive evaluations, diagnose, and manage a variety of ENT disorders utilizing advanced minimally invasive techniques. Participate in an extensive airway management program supported by pediatric surgeons and pulmonary specialists.

This role is highly clinical, offering avenues for both scholarly and clinical research pursuits. Engage in surgical interventions including myringotomy, tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, and nasal surgeries.

Through collaboration with the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria, you will have the opportunity to educate and mentor residents, fellows, and medical students. Work alongside other pediatric specialists to formulate holistic treatment strategies for complex cases.

Patient Population and Resources

As part of OSF HealthCare Children’s Hospital of Illinois, the third largest pediatric facility in the state, you will have the resources to care for a diverse patient population. The hospital features 136 beds and over 140 pediatric subspecialists, making it the leading provider of pediatric care outside of Chicago.

Each year, OSF Children’s Hospital handles more than 7,000 inpatient admissions, 75,000 outpatient specialty consultations, 2,400 newborn deliveries, and 18,000 emergency department visits.

As a physician, you will be committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality, patient-centered care. You will foster positive relationships and demonstrate collaborative, team-oriented behaviors with fellow physicians, nursing staff, and other departments.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Licenses/Certifications:
Must possess a valid medical license (or be eligible) to practice in the state. Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois for narcotic prescriptions, if applicable.
Board certification or eligibility in the relevant specialty is required. Maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.
Eligibility as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs is essential.
Must meet all criteria to participate in OSF programs for professional malpractice and liability coverage.
