Our team of Event Technicians plays a vital role in setting up and operating video, audio, and lighting equipment used to enhance live events. This position involves working on an as-needed basis, requiring flexibility and adaptability.

This role offers an hourly wage of $13.00, providing a competitive compensation package.

Benefits for part-time roles include a 401(k) savings plan with matching contributions.

Located at the heart of Cumberland County, the Crown Complex is a state-of-the-art facility comprising five venues: a 4,500-seat arena, a 9,200-square foot ballroom, a 10,880-seat coliseum, an exposition center with 60,000 square feet of unobstructed space, and a 2,440-seat theatre.

Managed by OVG360, the complex hosts various sporting events, family shows, concerts, and special productions throughout the year. It is home to the Fayetteville Marksmen hockey team (SPHL) and the Fayetteville Fury indoor soccer team (NISL).

The ideal candidate should possess knowledge of MS Office applications, including installing printers, scanners, internet connectivity, and Wi-Fi. A strong command of the English language, both spoken and written, is essential for effective communication with clients.

Additional requirements include being presentable, having flexible shifts, days off, and long hours, and providing lateral service to other departments. Troubleshooting technical issues, pinpointing faults, and remediating problems during events are also critical skills.

Experience handling events, general knowledge of basic electronics and connectivity, and basic PC troubleshooting are necessary. The ability to lift 50 pounds or more and communicate clearly and concisely in the English language are also required.

A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory, along with a valid NC driver's license. Demonstrated ability to function in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and customer service experience are essential. Good interpersonal skills, collaboration, and composure under pressure are vital qualities.
